Character Analysis
Dick is Lolita's modest, naïve, working-class husband who knows nothing of her sordid past. He's basically a really decent guy. Lolita isn't "crazy" (29.30) about him the way she was about Quilty, but he's a good guy and soon to be the father of her child. He and "Dolly" (his name for her) plan to move to Alaska and start a new life.
