Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Act IV, Scene 11 Summary

How It All Goes Down

Godric's Hollow, St. Jerome's Church, 1981

  • Ginny is grossed out to see her husband look like Voldemort.
  • No one wants to kiss that…except whoever Delphi's mom is. (Shudder.)
  • The lure works, and Delphi comes out to talk to Harry/Voldemort.
  • She reveals that her mom was Bellatrix Lestrange. Okay, that makes sense.
  • Delphi tells her demon daddy not to kill Harry Potter, and he's like, ok, whatever you say.
  • Delphi realizes that Voldemort is Harry in disguise, and a wand battle breaks out.
  • She knew it was Harry from the beginning, so she locked the doors to keep his friends from helping him.
  • They duel until Albus crawls in through a grate and unlocks the door, letting everyone in.
  • Albus narrowly avoids an Avada Kedavra curse.
  • Hermione binds Delphi with a spell, and Harry approaches her, furious that she almost killed his son.
  • "I only wanted to know my father" (4.11.109) she says.
  • Um, who in this room can't relate?
  • Harry says they'll take her back to the present and cram her witchy butt into Azkaban.
  • But first, Delphi will get her wish partially granted.
  • She'll get to see her father. Here comes Voldy.
