- Albus sits at the top of the stairs while some old dude yells at his dad.
- The old coot is Amos Diggory.
- Not-so-famous Amos is father to not-so-alive Cedric Diggory.
- Amos has heard that the Ministry now has a fancy-shmancy new Time-Turner, and he thinks the Ministry should use it to bring Cedric back.
- Instead of saying, "Are you an idiot? Have you never seen a single time travel movie in your life?" Harry lies and says he doesn't have a Time-Turner. (Time-Turner? What Time-Turner?)
- On the stairs, Albus is shocked by a girl calling herself Delphini Diggory, Amos' niece and nurse.
- She tells Albus that it's "tough to live with people stuck in the past" (1.6.37).
- Albus totally understands.
