- Sean meets a new buyer at the Malvern Farm: George Holly. He's an American.
- After a brief grammar and pronunciation lesson on capaill uisce and capall uisce, George Holly gushes about how famous Sean Kendrick is. "You're the man to beat. A national treasure" (13.19). Does that make him Nicolas Cage?
- George Holly isn't just interested in buying a water horse, which Malvern isn't selling, but he's also interested in Sean. He wants him to take care of his horses for him back in the states.
- Sean shows George how to care for a water horse, and thankfully, Corr doesn't eat anyone. Wow, that was a surprisingly blood-free chapter.
