- Yoda is kicking butt and taking names outside the Jedi Temple. Obi-Wan dispatches a bunch of clone troopers, and they enter.
- We cut to the Senate, where Padmé and Senator Organa are listening to the Chancellor telling everyone that the Jedi rebellion plot has been foiled.
- The Chancellor announces all Jedi will be hunted down and defeated, and everyone applauds wildly.
- Back in the Temple, Obi-Wan and Yoda survey the carnage. "Not even the younglings survived." (Man, that's some dark stuff.)
- They realize the kids were killed with a lightsaber, not by the clones. That's bad. They wonder which Jedi could have done this.
- Cut to Darth Vader killing everyone on Mustafar.
- Back in the Senate, the Chancellor is playing them all like fiddles.
- Cut back to Mustafar again. Darth Vader has wiped almost everyone out.
- Senate chambers. Chancellor Palpatine announces that in order to ensure continuing stability in the Republic, he will reorganize it into the Galactic Empire.
- People are applauding, while Padmé looks on in despair.
- Back in Mustafar, Nute is begging Darth Vader for mercy. He doesn't get any.
