Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Scene 2 Summary

  • We get a long opening shot of a spaceship.
  • Two little ships fly in around the big ship and then circle around into an intense battle. Even more ships appear and join in the battle-rific fun.
  • The pilots are Anakin—with his trusty R2-D2 droid unit—and, in the other ship, his Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
  • They are after General Grievous' ship, which is covered in vulture droids.
  • Obi-Wan asks for coverage from the clone army as they go in to attack.
  • They encounter some resistance, which they handle readily while cracking wise and spouting one-liners. Action movie pro tip: being under stress leads to the sharpest wit.
  • Anakin shows off some fancy moves to avoid missiles.
  • Obi-Wan is hit with a flock of buzz droids, which are basically annoying little mechanical pests that try to pull apart his ship.
  • Anakin tries a few things to get rid of the buzz droids, but it only seems to make things worse. (Does shooting directly at your buddy's ship ever help?)
  • Obi-Wan tries to get Anakin to abandon him in order to complete the mission. Yeah, right. Anakin is loyal.
  • R2-D2 takes care of the buzz droid problem. Well done, R2.
  • On to General Grievous' ship.
  • Oh. Oops. His shields are still up. That could be problematic.
  • Anakin and Obi-Wan crash land on Grievous' ship through an open portal and begin to kill droids by the dozens with their lightsabers.
  • R2-D2 adorably bleeps, buzzes, and boops in confusion until Obi-Wan orders him to locate the Chancellor.
  • Anakin senses Count Dooku. Obi-Wan senses a trap. We sense an imminent battle sequence.
