- Anakin has gone to Mace Windu, who tells him that Obi-Wan has killed Grievous so now the Chancellor has to give his emergency powers back to the Senate.
- But, Anakin tells Mace he won't because Palpatine is a Sith Lord.
- Mace is concerned, to say the least.
- Anakin once again thinks he should be part of the mission (to arrest Palpatine), but Mace thinks he should stay out of it for his own good, despite Anakin's insistence.
- Anakin is ordered to wait in the Council chambers until they return.
