Writing W.4.10
Write routinely over extended time frames (time for research, reflection, and revision) and shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of discipline-specific tasks, purposes, and audiences.
That's right, we're expected to write frequently. That means long writings, short writings, reflective writings, creative writings, written responses, and exit slips. The more you write, the more you're hitting this standard and shifting purposes and audiences for your writers.
