- As soon as Andy leaves his room, his toy cowboy starts to move. What?
- Woody shakes himself awake and then starts to worry about Andy's birthday party. He didn't know it was going to be today.
- Woody shouts that the coast is clear and, slowly, the entire bedroom filled with Andy's toys wakes up. They start walking, talking, and moving all over the place. (This movie could so very easily have been a horror movie, a la Chucky.)
- In only about a minute, we meet several other toys—in addition to Mr. Potato Head, there's the piggy bank, named Hamm, a little green army man named Sarge, and an Etch-a-Sketch that's really good at drawing. The dog from before is named Slinky and the dinosaur is Rex.
- Woody starts to gather up all the toys for a quick staff meeting. He may have some bad news, but he's not acting like it for now.
- Right before he goes up to talk to the other toys, the Little Bo Peep figure strolls up to Woody and thanks him for saving her sheep. Maybe he'd like her to find someone else to look after her flock tonight. Wink, wink.
- Woody's blushing.
- We didn't know toys could blush. But, to be fair, we also didn't know toys could move and talk and form romantic attachments.
