Character Analysis
Poppa Beaumont is one heck of a ladies' man: he managed to convince a beautiful girl with the superpower of doing things perfectly to marry him and start a family. Plus he's got a daughter that thinks he's the bee's knees.
It's got to be rough living in a house full of people who've got superpowers when you are just a regular guy, but Poppa is such a good natured person that it never gets him down. And near the end, Mibs shows him that he does have a savvy: he never gives up. In this way Poppa demonstrates a really important lesson in this book: Everyone is special in their own way, whether they possess a true blue super power or not.
