Grandma Dollop has a really neat savvy—the ability to save radio waves in jars. Momma and Poppa Beaumont saved one jar in particular after her death that contained their favorite song. She seems like a really interesting person, but we only get small glimpses and allusions to her since she's dead during the time of the book.
