- Juba is all of a sudden behind him. He asks if Maximus' family can hear him in the afterlife.
- He asks Maximus what he says to them.
- He tells his son he'll see him soon, and to keep his heels down while riding his horse.
- To his wife? "That is not your business," he says to Juba smiling. Juba also chuckles.
