How we cite our quotes: (Chapter. Paragraph)
Quote #25
[Edward:] "Bella." His fingers lightly traced the shape of my lips. "I will stay with you – isn't that enough?" (Epilogue.204)
Edward again commits to staying with Bella, and thinks that his presence and love should be enough to satisfy her. But she wants to have his presence and love forever.
Quote #26
[Bella:] I touched his face. "Look," I said. "I love you more than everything else in the world combined. Isn't that enough?"
[Edward:] "Yes, it is enough," he answered smiling. "Enough for forever."
And he leaned down to press his cold lips once more to my throat. (Epilogue.210-212)
Edward thinks that Bella's love for him is enough "forever," meaning that he doesn't need or want her to become a vampire. This contrasts with Bella's comment that Edward loving her and being with her is only "enough for now" – eventually, she wants to become a vampire and share eternity with him.
