Case Description: Complainant (Phaedra) accuses Defendant (Hippolytus) of sexual assault. Phaedra, Theseus's wife, told Theseus that Hippolytus, his son by Hippolyta, forced himself upon her in a sexual manner.
Case Status: Case closed. Believing his wife, Theseus cursed his son and caused his death. However, it turned out that Phaedra was lying about the whole thing. Turns out she had a crush on he Hippolytus. When her stepson rejected her, she started the lies. Before Theseus had a chance to punish his wife for her crime, she took her own life.
