- He hears about the train, and immediately knows it's probably a decoy.
- He orders Lieutenant Collet to notify the taxi company dispatcher with descriptions of Sophie and Langdon.
- He's also notifying Interpol. He's going to get these perps, no matter what.
- He knows that all fugitives need the "holy trinity": travel, lodging, and cash. So he's going to use Interpol to shut all those options down.
- He's confident that they'll mess up soon, and he'll nab them.
