Seven Scene 12 Summary

  • The cops surround the building where Victor lives.
  • It's apartment 306, and the SWAT team, led by Dr. Cox from Scrubs, batters down the door.
  • Inside, there's nothing: just the dirtiest apartment in the city, and with weird décor. Who decorates with pine-tree air fresheners?
  • Uh-oh. In the last room, there is something—someone in a bed. Is he alive?
  • Ew, no: it's practically a skeleton in the bed.
  • Dr. Cox calls in the detectives to look at the stinky, sore-covered, hand-less body.
  • Above the bed: "sloth."
  • Mills finds a box of photos, documenting the guy's decay over a year. A full year. Extras from The Walking Dead look healthier than this guy.
  • Dr. Cox leans toward the body and whispers to it, "You got what you deserved." And oh my god, the skeleton starts coughing. It's aliiiiiiiive.
  • Ambulances show up to cart the guy out.
  • In the hallway, a paparazzo snaps photos of Mills and Somerset, and Mills yells at him to "fuck off!" Hmm, that guy kind of looks and sounds like Kevin Spacey …
  • Somerset doesn't think Mills should get so emotional.
  • At the hospital, Mills asks if Victor has talked. Nope: he chewed off his own tongue. Cripes.
