Mississippi "Mibs" Beaumont Timeline and Summary

Mibs, excited for her thirteenth birthday and the appearance of her savvy, is devastated and dismayed to learn that her father is in a coma.
Believing her savvy to be waking things up, Mibs hides with Fish, Samson, Will, and Bobbi on a bible sales bus heading to the town where her father lies in the hospital.
After several interactions with people with tattoos and drawing a smiling sun on Will's skin, Mibs realizes that her savvy is actually hearing people's thoughts through ink on their skin.
After realizing that she was wrong, that she's lied to the adults, and that she's dragged everyone out for nothing, Mibs comes to accept herself and her new savvy.
Finally arriving at the hospital, Mibs realizes she can tell if Poppa will make it by listening to his tattoo, and manages to wake him up.
A year later, Mibs is at home, learning to scumble her savvy and generally happy with herself.
