Lester Swan Timeline and Summary

After an unsuccessful delivery of pink bibles to Pastor Meeks' church, Lester discovers the gang hiding out on the back of his bus and reluctantly lets them stay on board as he makes his deliveries. He constantly thinks disparaging things about himself, which Mibs hears from his tattoos.
Spying a broken down car on the road, Lester stops and picks up Lill to give her a ride to the diner where she works. Watching Ozzie act horribly toward Lill, Lester attempts to stand up to him.
Hearing that Samson wants a banana cream pie, Lester runs back into the diner and steals one for the gang.
After receiving a new tie and selling advice from Lill, Lester successfully makes a sale and professes his love to Lill; he finally starts thinking in his own voice.
Arriving at Carlene's, Lester informs her that the two of them are through.
Lester and Lill drive the gang to the hospital in Salina.
