Revolver Genre

Mystery; Family Drama; Historical Fiction

Secretive crimes? Check. Innocent victims? Check. Trying to find the truth? Check. Yep, Revolver sure is a mystery. And the thing about this mystery, is that it's set in the past—and though the characters are made up, the gold rush to Nome  most definitely isn't. This means it also falls squarely into the historical fiction genre.

While there's plenty of debate in this tale about guns, violence, and greed, it ultimately comes down to Einar and Maria, and Sig's struggle to find his way through his parents' ideology. Whenever this is the case, we know we're firmly rooted in the family drama genre. There may not be fighting amongst family members in this book, but the drama of this mystery swirls around the family unit.
