- Sig tries to bury his dad's body—he doesn't want it to rot and he's worried about what will happen if it does.
- He grabs a shovel and heads outside, but he can't dig in the ice.
- It's too hard and the shovel can't withstand the pressure.
- Then he wonders where Anna and Nadya are. Shouldn't they be back by now?
- Sig tells himself they'll be back with a slew of helpers soon—very soon.
- When Sig goes in the house, he puts a blanket over his dad's body. He has to do something and he can't bear to look at him any longer.
- Then he sees the mysterious guy outside get off his horse and walk inside the cabin.
