Humans

If we boil Jurassic Park down to one essential element, we get a single word: survival. It's a classic man vs. nature struggle, with "nature" here being scaly fanged beasts that like to hunt. We root for the humans to survive and thwart the pursuing dinosaurs.

Of course, it's never that simple. Sometimes we do root for the dinosaurs, like when the T. rex eats the lawyer off the toilet or the spitting dinosaur covers Nedry's face in toxic goo. But overall, we're rooting for the humans, especially the ones who ended up in Jurassic Park expecting a fun day, not to be running for their lives.
