Dinosaurs

The most dramatic scenes of Jurassic Park involve man vs. dinosaur, whether it's a Jeep racing away from a rampaging T. rex or Ellie Sattler running from Velociraptors in the power shed. And the final conflict in the movie involves humans, Velociraptors, and a T. rex. Whoa.

More often than not, we want the human to survive. The dinosaurs aren't antagonists because they're bad; it's in their nature to hunt. It's just that we understand that if we were in the same situation, we'd be prey, too. So we want the prey to escape.

The crazy thing about the final action scene is that the T. rex inadvertently helps the humans by attacking a Velociraptor. Who knew these two were antagonists to one another?
