Fleur Delacour

Character Analysis

Ginny calls her "a cow" (5.136), and we have to agree that Fleur does get on our nerves. Engaged to Bill Weasley, Fleur attended Beauxbatons School in France and participated with Harry in the Tri-Wizard Tournament (Book 4). She is beautiful, and most of the boys can't help but like her. We see an interesting side of her when, at the end of Book 6, after Bill has been mauled by Fenrir Greyback, Fleur is not shaken but professes her love even more powerfully for her fiancé. We begin to see that she may not be so superficial after all.
