Quidditch: temporary Keeper
Cormac is a fiery tempered 7th year who tries out for the position of Keeper on the Gryffindor Quidditch team; when Ron beats him in tryouts (thanks to a Confounding spell issued by Hermione), Cormac gets really angry. He is one of Slughorn's favorite students (thanks to a successful uncle), and he is Hermione's date to Slughorn's holiday party – a fact that really frosts Ron's cookie.
