Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Scene 4 Summary

  • The car lands in a field with a lanky little house. The boys go inside and see all kinds of magical things happening around them. This is the Burrow—Ron's house. Harry really digs it.
  • Just then Mrs. Weasley comes down the stairs. She is not amused that her three sons snuck out last night and flew a car to Surrey without so much as leaving a note. Luckily, she doesn't blame Harry…or stay mad for too long, really.
  • At breakfast, Ron's little sister Ginny comes down, but she panics a little when she sees Harry. Seems she's been talking about our favorite boy wizard all summer. Has someone got a crush?
  • Mr. Weasley comes home from a long night of work at the Ministry of Magic. He meets Harry and mentions that the Ministry has performed a bunch of raids of last night. Interesting…
  • Then Errol, the Weasleys' owl, arrives with the post. It's everyone's Hogwarts letters with the list of school supplies.
  • Looks like it's off to Diagon Alley for a shopping spree.
