- On the first day of Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson, Gilderoy Lockhart introduces himself as their new teacher. So that's who this guy is.
- He goes into all his fancy titles and starts to talk about his adventures before unveiling a cage of Cornish pixies.
- The students aren't impressed so Lockhart releases them into the room.
- The pixies might be tiny but they're good at making mischief. Most of the students manage to escape the room before Lockhart tries to perform a spell. The pixies snatch his wand instead.
- He backs out of the classroom and tells Harry, Ron, and Hermione to get the rest of the pixies into their cages.
