Newt Scamander Timeline & Summary

Newt Scamander was born in 1897.
He dismembered Horklumps as a seven-year-old boy sometime around 1904.
He graduated from Hogwarts sometime around 1914.
After his graduation, he got a job for the Ministry of Magic in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.
He began work on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in 1918.
He travelled to five continents searching for information and research about magical creatures to include in his book.
The book was first published in 1927.
Mr. Scamander helped create the Werewolf Register in 1947.
He helped create the Ban on Experimental Breeding, which was passed in 1965.
He was awarded the Order of Merlin, Second Class in 1979.
As of circa 1994, Mr. Scamander is retired and living in Dorset with his wife, Porpentina. He's 97 years old.
