Common Core Standards
Grade 7
Speaking and Listening SL.7.5
Include multimedia components and visual displays in presentations to clarify claims and findings and emphasize salient points.
According to this standard, the multimedia stuff seventh graders put in their presentations should be more focused than that of sixth graders. Instead of simply slapping on any ol' image just because it's related to the topic of their presentations, students now have to make sure that their multimedia stuff corresponds to the most important points. Other than that, students should keep on doing what they've always been doing—making great multimedia presentations, of course.
