Grade 3
Language L.3.1.G
Form and use comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs, and choose between them depending on what is to be modified.
Figuring out how to compare two nouns is second nature for most kids, but using those adjectives correctly can be a bit challenging for a third grader.
Make sure you have a handle on these, too. The comparative adjectives are all about making comparisons: someone is happier, faster, more content. And superlative adjectives are about finding the greatest degree of something: the happiest mother, the fastest kid, the most content teacher.
