Computer geeks, now is your time to shine. Microsoft will pick up the tab for your college education if you can prove that they are going to want you after graduation. To apply, students must have an avid interest in the software industry, demonstrate financial need, and have a commitment to leadership. While all students are eligible for scholarships, the company is clear that the majority of awards go to women, disabled applicants, and underrepresented minorities in the software field. In addition to landing college cash, winners also land a 12-week paid summer internship at Microsoft.
