Physical Danger

Physical Danger

We expect our senators to do some pretty heavy lifting, but not much of it is physical. Most of the day you'll either be sitting behind a big desk in your office or a smaller desk in the Senate chamber. The Capitol Building in which you'll work may be a massive target for nefarious evildoers, but it also happens to be one of the best-guarded buildings in the world.

As a public official, you too are a target. There's a little danger every time you step out on the campaign trail, or attend a public fundraiser, or give a speech. That's why we think it's pretty important to remember the names of all your bodyguards. You want them to want to help you at all times.
