Fame? You're lucky if the businesses you're inspecting know your first name, let alone sing your praises in the local newspaper. You're usually going to be known as "that jerk inspector that's trying to shut us down." If the workplace passes inspection, you'll be forgotten the minute you walk out the door; if they don't, your image may be seared into their memory—and not in the good way. Bottom line is, nothing you do is ever going to make the newspapers.
