Physical Danger

Physical Danger

The danger levels are relatively low if you're working at a pool or in a calm bay. But it's not a walk in the park—you're at the pool, remember? Just make sure to apply generous amounts of sunscreen. You don't want to have to deal with nasty sunburns and the possibility of skin cancer.

The beach, though, is another story. You'll be dealing with huge waves, rip tides, sharks, and jellyfish, so yeah, it's not super safe. You'll also have to deal with drunk and rowdy beachgoers who won't always take kindly to you policing the beach and snatching away their alcohol. There's a lot of responsibility on your shoulders, so be careful out there.
