There's some fierce Hunger Games-esque competition out there for funding. Because of this, more and more organizations are relying on hired-gun grant writers to help them win funding proposals. Experienced grant writers, that is. Make sure you land that grant writing internship while in college, or you may find yourself doing pro bono work (read: working for free). Nobody wants to hire a newbie.
