Salary

Average Salary: $55,000

Expected Lifetime Earnings: $2,296,140

Who needs a salary when you get to work amongst multimillionaires? Don't they leave a trail of hundred-dollar bills and gold flakes wherever they go?

No?

Okay, yeah, you do need a salary. Unfortunately, yours will likely be just a teensy weensy fraction of what the club members make. The median salary for a country club manager is $56,000. The amount your patrons spend on their lobster dinners could probably pay your utility bills for an entire year (source).

As an entry-level country club manager, you'll make around $44,000 on average. With decades of experience, however, you'll likely top out around $89,000 (source). That's assuming you actually stay in the biz that long.

Think you can make up for a low salary with amazing, awesome health insurance? Not so fast. While slightly over half of country club managers have medical coverage, only around 40% have dental coverage, roughly a quarter have vision coverage, and 35% have no medical benefits at all (source).

Glamorous enough for you yet?
