Odds of Getting In
The job market these days totally necessitates some form of higher education. This is great news for the prospective Dean of Students. As more students step onto college campuses, they'll need the dean to help them navigate the next four, or five, or six years.
Employment of post-secondary education administrators is projected to grow 15% between 2012 and 2022, which is pretty fast compared to other industries (source). In addition to your degree(s), seek out internships and work experience that will give you an edge later on.
