Description:
A good night's sleep consists of four to five sleep cycles. Each cycle includes periods of both deep sleep and rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. As the night goes on, the portion of the cycle in REM sleep increases. REM is characterized by rapid and random eye movement. It is also when dreaming occurs. Most people can recall their dreams from this stage, and it is when certain memories are consolidated. The cycling and progression of different phases is critical to the biology of sleep.
The tone of this passage could best be described as
(A)critical
(B)objective
