[Dino and Coop singing]

00:13

As humans, we've got it pretty made when it comes to moving around. [Sped up footage of a city]

00:17

Obviously we're best suited on land.

00:19

We can walk, run, skip, and frolic to our hearts content! [Kid skipping in the rain with an umbrella]

00:22

But that doesn't stop us from swimming, too.

00:25

And, come to think of it, we're not bad climbers either. [Boy sticking his head out from the bottom of a tree]

00:27

We can even fly!

00:28

…Well, sort of.

00:30

Maybe don't try that one at home. [Someone bungee jumping]

00:31

Anyway, just like we have a bunch of different ways to get around, so does the rest of the [Coop pointing at a blackboard]

00:35

animal kingdom!

00:36

Did someone ask for examples???

00:39

…No?

00:39

Well, whatever.

00:40

We've got some, and we like sharing! [Guy behind a cheese counter]

00:43

Swimming is an obvious one – and a necessary one, given that over 70% of planet earth is [Dog swimming with a tennis ball in its mouth]

00:47

covered by water.

00:48

And lots of things swim, including fish, whales, dolphins, sharks, seals, and elephants. [Different animals in the ocean]

00:54

Bet you weren't expecting that last one, huh? [Elephant swimming]

00:57

Some animals sprint across land really, really, really, really fast. [Cheetah running]

01:01

Some because they're looking to catch food...

01:03

And others because they're looking to not be food!

01:05

And no, elephants may give Phelps a run for his money, but they're not exactly champion

01:09

sprinters.

01:10

Other animals are really great climbers, like monkeys, snakes, and even rats. [Sloth hanging]

01:14

And humans too, especially when there's a high-up cookie-jar just ready to be raided. [Kid falls on a ladder trying to reach the cookie jar]

01:19

And we can't forget flight, which is seen in animals like birds, bats and insects.

01:23

Though sometimes, we kinda wish it wasn't seen in insects…wasps are scary enough without

01:28

flying right in our faces…

01:30

There are also animals that we sometimes say can fly, like flying geckos and flying squirrels,

01:34

but they can't really quite fly.

01:36

They do more of a glide.

01:38

And just like humans, there are even a few animals that walk on two legs – think gorillas, [Penguin walking on a beach]

01:42

ostriches and your dog when it really, really, really wants a bite of your hot dog. [Dog jumping at a guy]

01:47

As you can see, animals love to move around in a whole variety of different ways, whether

01:51

it's running, climbing, flying, or swimming.

01:53

But let's all be thankful that driving isn't one of them. [Dog driving a car]

01:56

We're not too sure we'd like to see a hot-dog-crazed canine speeding down the highway.
