Frederick Frankenstein

Frederick Frankenstein is the "Young" Frankenstein of the film's title, so he's our protagonist. He's on a journey we're all familiar with—finding his identity. It's the identity he initially ran from, because he distanced himself from his family's mad scientist history. But he eventually embraces it. We follow his journey from sanity to madness and back ag— okay, he doesn't actually come back. He stays on the border of sanity and madness, but he's happy there with his enhanced schwanstucker.
