Paulina

Paulina is the only person who seems willing to stand up to Leontes when he acts like a tyrant, so it makes sense that she becomes his spiritual guide after he realizes the error of his ways. Paulina makes darn sure that Leontes spends sixteen years repenting and suffering for destroying his family. She does this by constantly reminding him that he threw away his newborn child and caused the deaths of his wife and son, which is kind of sadistic but ultimately leads Leontes to a reunification with his wife and long lost daughter.
