The New Yorker

Character Analysis

When Judy and Dexter are dating the first time around, she eventually ditches Dexter for a man from back east. She always has plenty of lovers, but this New Yorker, rumor has it, has asked Judy to marry him. After a while, though, the relationship, like all of Judy's relationships, fizzles and Judy goes back to Dexter (for a time, before he finally leaves her for Irene Scheerer).
