Character Role Analysis

Rorschach (Walter Joseph Kovacs)

If Alan Moore wrote a book called WatchmAn, it’d be a piece of cake to pick the hero. As is, you can make an argument for a Dan / Laurie combo, or even Adrian Veidt, as crazy as that sounds. He does save the world, doesn’t he? As far as Rorschach goes, can you think of a less likable character? He’s smelly, psychotic, and the runt of the Crimebusters crew. And yet, he’s our protagonist. The book starts and ends with Rorschach’s journal. ‘Nuff said.
