Ramandu's Daughter

Character Analysis

Ramandu's daughter is a tall, striking blonde woman dressed in blue. She appears, majestic and impressive, out of a door in the hillside just before dawn and greets Caspian and his friends. Along with her father, Ramandu the retired star, she greets the dawn every morning and helps maintain Aslan's Table. Caspian seems to fall in love with her on sight, and one of his reasons for disenchanting the final three lords is that doing so will make him eligible to marry her. Ramandu's daughter doesn't get a name in the Narnia books, but she does get to be Caspian's queen.
