Quote #10
[Edward to Bella:] "The blush on your cheeks is lovely," he murmured. He gently freed his other hand. My hands fell limply into my lap. Softly he brushed my cheek, then held my face between his marble hands. (13.146)
Edward and Bella limit themselves to lightly touching each other's face and hands, because anything more could prove to be dangerous.
Quote #11
Slowly, never moving his eyes from mine, he leaned toward me. Then abruptly, but very gently, he rested his cold check against the hollow at the base of my throat. I was quite unable to move, even if I'd wanted to. I listened to the sounds of his breathing, watching the sun and wind play in his bronze hair, more human than any other part of him. (13.148)
Bella is acutely aware of all her senses during this scene. She and Edward aren't speaking, but their body language says a lot about how they feel.
Quote #12
And it was almost warm, his usually ice skin. But I barely noticed, for I was touching his face, something I'd dreamed of constantly since the first day I'd seen him. (13.163)
Edward and Bella are enjoying their time together, trying not to worry about any human-vampire complications. Notice how Bella says that she's been wanting to touch his face for quite some time? How much of her attraction to him is based on his good looks?
