Character Analysis
Before there was Men's Health, there was Lawrence Lefferts. Lefferts is always talking on and on (and on and on) about gentlemanly conduct. Many of his buddies look to him for advice on all aspects of social etiquette. He's a player, though; he may talk a lot about morality and chastity, but he's usually at his most moralizing when he's trying to hide an affair from his wife. Classy, Lefferts. To those in the know, Lefferts is also a total social climber who has to be put in his place a few times by those who are more socially prominent.
