- Olivia has been absent from school. Grace tries to call her, but she only gets voicemail.
- Before she can get too worried though, she finds a note from Sam in her backpack. It warms her heart.
- In class, Isabel tosses a stack of Olivia's photos onto Grace's desk. In the stack is a photo of Jack as a wolf... then Jack as a human. Naked.
- Afraid that Isabel is going to let the secret of the wolves out in public, Grace gives Isabel her cell phone number and agrees to talk to her after school.
- Grace tells Sam, and he agrees to meet with her.
