Case File: Zeus vs. Prometheus

Case File: Zeus vs. Prometheus

Police Reports

Case Description: Complainant (Zeus) accuses Defendant (Prometheus) of grand theft for stealing fire and giving it to mankind.

Case Status: Case closed. Defendant (Prometheus) found guilty and sentenced to eternal torture by complainant. Prometheus was chained to a rock somewhere in the Caucus Mountains where eagles feast on his liver everyday. At night, his liver grows back so that the eagles can feast again.

Addendum: We have received reports that years later, Prometheus was set free by Heracles. The hero broke the chains, killed the eagles, and pled the Titan's case to Zeus, convincing the king of the gods to give Prometheus an official pardon.
