- It's January now, and Maniac is on his own again. Running, again. He's left 101 Bandshell Boulevard behind, but not before brushing over the "101" on the wall.
- During the day, Maniac leaves Two Mills behind and returns at night. He runs out of food and ends up feeding himself at the zoo or the Salvation Army.
- One day still in winter he ends up at Valley Forge and moves into one the replicas of the Continental Army's cabins.
