- The narrator tells us that he watched Lady Rowena transform into Ligeia. Is there any reason why we shouldn't believe him?
- The first published version of "Ligeia" didn't include the "The Conqueror Worm." Does the poem add anything special to the story, or does it simply help reinforce a theme?
