Exactly how steamy is this story?

For a novel that popularized the image of the vampire as an erotic figure, there isn't much in the way of hot vamp-on-vamp action. While the act of feeding is sometimes equated with sexual arousal, the vampires themselves don't get any sexy time.
However, the scene at the Théâtre des Vampires is pretty explicit. Against her will, a woman is undressed on stage in front of dozens of people and murdered. It's not steamy in any way, but its sleaziness rating is off the charts.
